SPARK: where faith catches.
SPARK is our children's ministry for grades K–5, and it is built on a simple idea: a small spark of God's Word, planted early, lights a faith that lasts. Each Sunday, kids walk through the big story of the Bible with lessons sized just for them.
- Bible stories that stick. One story at a time, told well, with questions kids actually want to answer.
- Hands-on every week. Crafts, games, and music that bring the lesson off the page.
- Verses to keep. Simple memory verses kids carry into the week.
Chippy and Friends
Chippy and Friends is a cast of puppet characters who teach God's Word in a way kids love. Once a month we bring the Sunday School classes into the worship service so the whole church can enjoy the show and learn together.
Blessing of the Backpacks
Supporting local students is part of how this church shows up for Chandler. At the start of each school year, kids and teens bring their backpacks and the congregation prays over them and the year ahead.
Faith feels real when kids get to take part.
Children are not an audience here. They learn, participate, ask questions, and grow up surrounded by people who know their names.
- Sunday School. Age-appropriate learning begins at 10:00 AM.
- Worship together. Children are welcome to sit with their family during the service.
- Children & Youth Sunday. Each summer, children and youth lead the entire worship service, including music, prayers, Scripture readings, and the sermon.
- Family connection. Parents find support and relationships alongside their children.

A few answers can make a first visit easier. Contact the office for current classroom and nursery details.
Where do we go when we arrive?
Start at the main entrance and tell a greeter you are visiting with children. They can walk you to the appropriate Sunday School room or help your family find seats in the sanctuary.
Do my children have to attend a separate class?
No. Children are always welcome to stay with you in worship. Classes are available for families who choose them.
What ages do the programs serve?
FCC welcomes children and teenagers. Contact the church office for the current class groupings and nursery availability before your visit.
Is there a cost?
Regular Sunday kids and youth programming is free. Special trips or events will clearly state any cost in advance.

Chandler BJJ trains right here in our Large Fellowship Hall, and many of our kids and congregants are on the mats every week. Classes welcome all ages and experience levels, from first-time students to seasoned competitors.
