Our Worship Space

A look inside the sanctuary

Our historic sanctuary seats the congregation beneath open wood beams and original stained glass, with a center aisle and raised platform well suited to weddings, memorials, and music events.

Convenient for funeral luncheons: First Christian Church is located directly across the street from Parks Brothers Funeral Home, making our fellowship hall an easy, close-by place to gather after a service.

Our Largest Space

A look inside the Large Fellowship Hall and Kitchen

Added in 2008, the hall seats round tables for receptions and dinners, or rows of chairs for meetings, classes, and performances. A raised platform sits at one end.

The kitchen is attached to the hall and rents with it. It is built for cooking and serving at volume: two prep islands with sinks, commercial refrigeration, a range under a vent hood, microwave, and a serving window that opens onto the hall. Caterers and volunteer kitchen crews both have room to work.

Room & Kitchen Together

Small Fellowship Hall and Kitchen

The hall and the kitchen next to it rent as one space, which makes it a good fit for potlucks, family reunions, and civic groups. The hall seats long tables for meals, classes, showers, and meetings, and the kitchen opens right off it for serving and prep, so food never has to travel.

Room to Hang Out

The Youth Room

Built for students and just as useful for anyone who wants a relaxed room instead of a formal one. A pool table anchors the space, with lounge seating, a television, and a whiteboard for teaching.

Also Available

The Classroom

A classroom with tables, chairs, and an upright piano. It works well for a class or a group meeting, and the piano makes it a good fit for music lessons and practice.
