Each year the Community Gospel Concert gathers churches from Chandler, the surrounding area, and the Oklahoma City metro for an evening of worship through gospel music. Organized and directed by Pastor Lori, it crosses congregations, brings the wider community together in song, and gives back to a local cause.
Tony James of Houston, Texas, joins us as a featured soloist. He is one of the up-and-coming musicians Pastor Lori brings in from her wider music ministry, and his set is one of the highlights of the night.
Area choirs and teams. Worship teams and choirs from churches across central Oklahoma and the Oklahoma City metro sing alongside him, turning the evening into one voice from across the region.
There is no admission. A free-will offering is taken, and the proceeds go to a local cause, chosen fresh each year.
